Michael Phillips has been writing in the Christian marketplace for 30 years. All told, he has written, co-written, and edited some 110 books. While a young college student in the 1970s, Michael started a small book shop, and wrote his first books on a typewriter at the store’s checkout counter. Those early writings covered a wide variety of topics and later included major biographies of Olympian and Kansas congressman Jim Ryun (Harper and Row) and Victorian author and man of letters George MacDonald (Bethany House.)
Michael’s wife Judy is a professional harpist and harp teacher. Michael and Judy have been married forty years and live in northern California.
