John Ringo is a science fiction and military fiction author with several New York Times best sellers. He tops today’s Buffet with There Will be Dragons, Book 1 of his “War Councils” series originally published in 2003.

John served in the Army, then earned a college degree in marine biology, then worked as a computer database manager before getting the idea for his first science fiction novel published 13 years ago, A Hymn Before Battle (the title was a homage to the Kipling poem “Hymn Before Action.” Since then, John has written or co-written 33 novels.
