Jeff Rivera is a journalist and TV personality who also writes fiction targeted at young adults. His most recent YA work, Forever My Lady<\/em>, which tops today’s Buffet, is a bestselling novel about a Latino juvenile delinquent who transforms his life in prison to win back the love of the girl he lost.<\/p>\n

Jeff was inspired to write the story when, after a period of homelessness, he met a former gang member who turned his life around. Jeff launched his writing career by self-publishing the book and selling 8,000 copies before it was picked up by Warner Books (now known as Grand Central Publishing) in 2005. This week, Forever My Lady<\/em> was the most popular teen romance book on Amazon.com.<\/p>\n

Recently Jeff, a native of Salt Lake City, expanded into children’s books with last year’s popular Um … Mommy, I Think I Flushed My Brother Down The Toilet<\/em> and its sequel published in January. Jeff has already developed several more children’s book ideas, and expects to publish them in the near future.<\/p>\n
