Amazon grills new sellers about inventory sources

From the Auctionbytes blog, a letter from a new Amazon bookseller:

Amazon sent a notice saying my account is under investigation. … They say they want me to prove shipments with delivery confirmation numbers, provide names and contact numbers of my suppliers, provide lists of inventory and in-stock items and predicted sales, any websites, any sales histories on other sites, etc etc. I sent what I could of this, but I am not giving up my supplier’s name and numbers.
