Children’s used bookstore opens in Phoenix

I keep reading about new openings of children’s bookshops and used bookshops — looks like a lot of people are optimistic. And 10,000 used books is quite a collection:

Cathy Green, a former preschool teacher, opened Tikes and Tales with her husband, John, at the southeastern corner of Greenway Road and Tatum Boulevard after realizing the area lacked a used-books store for kids.

She spent the year prior to opening buying used books at local garage sales. The couple had soon gathered 10,000 used children’s books.
