Another Amazon seller feedback survey

Amazon has been e-mailing this message since Thursday, asking for volunteers for an “Amazon seller experience” survey. Apparently if you’ve completed a similar survey within the past year or two, the link won’t work.

Dear Amazon seller,

We would like to get your feedback about the Amazon seller experience via this short online survey. Your views are important to us: by filling out the survey, you will have an impact on the design of features and services offered to all Amazon sellers. We appreciate your time, and we take your feedback seriously. The survey should only take about 15 minutes to complete.

The survey is available for a limited time only, so please respond as soon as possible. Just click the link below to get to the survey. Amazon’s surveys are hosted by an external company, so the link does not lead to the site. Your information will be kept secure and confidential, and your name will not be associated with your answers.

Please click here to take the survey

Thank you very much for your time and effort!

Sincerely,
Market Research Team

At the risk of sounding paranoid, I don’t trust Amazon not to use the survey in general and my answers specifically to make changes that could potentially negatively affect my selling.

Therefore I have ignored the survey and will continue to do so.

As someone once said, “just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you!” I’m in total agreement with you!

Amazon’s business model aligns their selling success with ours. They don’t make a dime from Marketplace Sellers unless we make a sale. The Marketplace also makes up 30% of Amazon’s sales. I believe that Amazon is very interested in improving our business, and thereby improving theirs.

I don’t trust Amazon at all. They do not look out for the majority of book sellers.

I ordered a book from echomate@comcast.net the book was sent to the address I gave but could not be delivered at that address and was returned to the vendor.

?The vendor contacted me via phone and told me he would send the book to my address with no additional postage. I received the book and I am very satisfied with the merchandise.

I trust Mr. Leo Malloy and think that he is an honorable vendor.
