eBay is holding a two-day promotion where insertion fees are reduced to 10 cents when you move an item from Store format to auction or fixed-price. You’ll also get free gallery display on the listings.
The short version of an interesting post to the store boards basically says that since all these auctions will end on the 22nd, provided everyone lists for the usual 7 days, means that all unsold listings will probably be sent back to the stores on the day that the fees hike. This will make it appear that folks are listing like crazy in spite of the fee hike, justifying this change. Just an interesting “take” on the “special” that ends the day the fees go up.
